The Spiral toppen is an area on top of a mountain (although the locals don’t consider it so because there are larger mountains, a small mountain like this is called an “Os” I believe.) It is almost completely woods, with extensive trails going in all directions. Some lead to small, old homesteads. No longer inhabited, just remaining as historical sites.
